Film production company FOS moves to Public Limited Company status
FOS, the film and entertainment company, is pleased to announce it has successfully completed its transition from a Limited Company to a Public Limited Company in advance of its application to be admitted to a European stockmarket.
Managing Director Nevern Johns said:
“It is with great pleasure that I am able to confirm that our new Public Limited Company, Fashion On Screen Plc, is now formed and registered at Companies House. Our investors’ shareholding in the Plc is exactly as per their former shareholding in the original limited company and our lawyers, Child & Child, confirmed to me yesterday that the share exchange between the two companies had been completed successfully with all clearances required from HMRC including Stamp Duty exemption now received.
“This will bring to an end a lengthy and time-consuming process for our company and I know our shareholders will share my excitement at being so close to our original objective of becoming one of the first British film production companies to achieve a public listing. I believe that the profile this will give us will reflect very positively on the progress of our first two films, Will and REVolution, both of which are poised to enter production. My team is also very active in exploring further high-end film production projects and I look forward to bringing you news on these in the coming months.”
